What is the CNC machining process?

Post time: Apr-23-2023

Ordinary CNC machining generally refers to precision machining, CNC machining lathes, CNC machining milling machines, CNC machining boring and milling, etc.

The feed processing route of the CNC lathe moves from the cutter point (or the fixed origin of the machine) until it returns to that position and completes the machining process, including the cut path, tool cut, cutting and other non-cut blank line paths.
Precision machining of the feed line is basically according to the outline of the part sequence. Therefore, the key to determine thet cut line is the roughing and empty stroke of the feed line.
In the process of CNC lathe processing, the following principles are generally to be followed, the accuracy and surface roughness of the processed workpiece can be guaranteed.
As far as possible to shorten the processing route, reduce the air time, improve the processing efficiency, simplify the workload of numerical calculation, simplify the processing procedures, for some reusable procedures, then the sub-procedure should be used.

CNC means that CNC machine tools are programmed and controlled with NC processing language, usually G code. NC processing G coding language tells CNC machine tool to use what kind of Cartesian position coordinates, control the feed speed of the tool, spindle speed, conversion tool, coolant and other functions.

1. Coarse before fine, when processing parts precision requirements are higher to rough processing, semi-fine plus Work, finish.  If the accuracy requirement is higher, it also includes several stages of finishing processing.
2. Datum first principle, used as a fine reference surface should be processed first, the addition of any parts, The process always begins with roughing and finishing the positioning reference
3. The first surface after the hole, for the box, bracket and other parts, the plane size outline is larger, the plane positioning is more stable, and the depth of the hole size is based on the plane, so it should be the first processing plane, and then processing the hole.
4. First inside and then outside, that is, first processing the inner cavity, after processing the outer surface.
5. First and then, that is, the main surface is processed first, and then the secondary surface is processed.
JSADD 3D  accepts a wide range of CNC machining and welcomes enquiries from all customers.
